Cacahuamilpa Cves national park is located on the east slope Sierra Madre del Sur, in the municipalites of Pilcaya, Tetipac and Taxco, in guerrero state and in the Coatlan del Rio in the state of Morelos. Betwueen 18° 37´ 04" N¨ latitud and 99° 28´ 32" and 99° 31´ 36" "W longitude, covers an area of 1.600. It was declared National Park on 20 january of 1936.

Is located abaut 56 kilometers from the city of Taxco, on the road no. 166 to 220 kilometers above the port of Acapulco. Of 66 kilometers from Iguala de la Independencia and 81 kilometers of Cuernavaca, Morelos.
